For trekkers, who want to explore parts of Sikkim and Darjeeling, the best time is between May to October. The trekking season for Arunachal Pradesh starts in October and ends in February.

Trekking is similar to Meditation. When you climb up to a mountain peak, it somehow calms you down. You are with yourself for that brief moment and there is no other feeling that can match that calmness and nearness to oneself.
Trekking can be done almost anywhere in the world but there are some places which are popular in trekkers including mountainous regions such as the Himalayas in Asia and the Andes in South America.
